Dr. Burgstahler is a licensed specialist in Orthodontics for the state of Oregon.
Dr. Elizabeth Burgstahler brings a wealth of expertise and enthusiasm to her role at Parkside Orthodontics. Thrilled to join forces with Dr. Kuperstein, a long-time colleague and friend, she is dedicated to maintaining the exemplary, evidence-based care that defines the patient experience at Parkside Orthodontics.
Hailing from Salt Lake City, Utah, Dr. Burgstahler has been a proud Portland resident since 2011. A former pastry chef, she returned to academia graduating Summa Cum Laude from Portland State University and earned her DMD degree with Highest Honors from Oregon Health and Science University. Subsequently, she completed her Master’s degree and orthodontic residency at the University of Minnesota, mentored by Dr. Brent Larson, a distinguished past President of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO).

Beyond her commitment to crafting beautiful smiles and (lovingly) reminding patients about their rubber bands, Dr. Burgstahler immerses herself in the vibrant Portland community. Her free time is spent exploring the city's numerous parks, perfecting the art of pie dough, and indulging in her guilty pleasures—an "inadvisable" amount of boba tea and exquisite jams. Her multifaceted interests and dedication to patient care truly set her apart in the world of orthodontics.
