Your First Visit Your first appointment will be in our private consultation room. Dr. Kuperstein will do a comprehensive visual examination and then discuss her recommendations for treatment.
Factors such as treatment duration and the best time to start will be reviewed. Dr. Kuperstein believes in starting treatment only at the "right time," according to each patient's individual needs. In many cases, a computer simulation of treatment options will be presented and discussed. While some patients are ready for orthodontic treatment, others are not, and may be placed on a re-evaluation schedule so that they may be monitored until it is exactly the perfect time to start. For those patients who are ready and eager to start treatment right away, we can proceed immediately following the consultation. At your consultation appointment, we will also discuss fees, payment plans, insurance benefits or any other financial considerations. Our consultations are complimentary and are designed to answer any questions that you may have about orthodontic treatment.
